Ketrella Mountainside
For hundreds of years, the mountainside of Ketrella mountain range has been considered a very fertile land.
However, for the last ten years, the yields coming from the fields and animal products exceeded every prognosis.
Still, the long distance from the main trade routes is one of the biggest reasons why so little people decide to move there.

Geography
Mountains of Katrella range are pretty dense but not really tall (1500 meters above sea level). As a range, they are pretty short (only 50 kilometers).
For the biggest part of the year, there is no snow on them. For such a short and small mountain range, the number of rivers and lakes here is staggering, to the point where most of the people living here move mostly using them. Even shepherds, when traveling with their flock between pastures, will often hire a ferry to reduce the time one would need to waste to finds a bridge strong enough to carry them.

Fauna & Flora
The mountain range and its surrounding area is completely free from the places warped by Color (Oversaturation). Because of this, the flora and fauna here is normal, if one doesn't count its richness and numbers.
After and during long winters, one needs to watch out for hungry packs of wolves or bears that woke up too early.
In places inhabited by sentient races, there is a lot of sheep, goats and other domesticated animals one would associate with those terrains. Small parts of the mountainside have been turned into pastures.
All of the rivers and lakes are full of life, with many edible fishes swimming around.
After some searching, I am almost completely sure that there is a Witch living in one of the villages located on that mountainside. It seems like the only possible cause for the sudden growing increase in yields there.
Witches can both balance and generate Colors wherever they are, so that's what this one is doing. What's weird, she didn't try to reveal herself yet or didn't try to manipulate other people living there, or at least we didn't hear anything about it. Maybe she's really young or she doesn't know about what she is. As of yet.
