Glass jar order

It's funny how secret symbols can seem so ominous just because we aren't sure what exactly they mean - and Glass jar order is no different... Or is it?

Now, what is the Glass jar order, and why all the secrecy?

The group was first created by Heilm Ilkwan, the current owner of Ilkwan Family Collection in Ellyn. His biggest passion in life is to share knowledge with the youth and create a spark in them for learning. And that is what Glass jar order is all about, giving young people the chance to learn things but in a fun and different way than most.   The order is essentially a secret book-club for young interested Ywara, where Heilm is the "leader". They meet once a month just outside the city in a small clearing in Juli Forest. Heilm usually brings a couple of books/documents, some refreshments and snacks, and a high spirit. In order to call a meeting in the order, Heilm sets out an empty glass jar in front of the main entrance of Ilkwan Family Collection 2 days before the meeting is due. Then at the day of the meeting, he fills the jar with the corresponding content (see list below)
  • Empty: 2 days until meeting
  • Rocks: History readings and stories
  • Sand: Aspriring writers can read out their works
  • Feathers: Magic history
  • Dead Flowers: Useful knowledge and lessons from out anscestors
  • Crumbled paper: Bring your own books/documents
Meetings are always filled with curious young ones: some want to learn, others want new company and most are just a curious bunch - the young in Ellyn loves to take part in the club, and it has been a great success, so much that other cities have decided to make something similar. Heilm has managed to create a wonderful community in the city and has made everyday life for many children a lot more interesting and fun.
