Encountered in the Red Desert, where he was already engaged in combat with the Manifestations of the Mirage.
Disappeared by sinking into the sand before he could identify himself.
The only remotely concrete information about him came from the voices of the Red Desert:

Kesmet: Who was the dude that was helping us, with the blue energy shit?
Voices: A fellow traveler of the sands.
Dazki: Who is this "traveler of the sands", in our realm?
Voices: He is not of your realm anymore. He is a traveler of the cosmos.
