Circled Road

The Circled Road is a major highway located on Aerlon. The road runs around the center of the continent, covering approximately 3,500 miles of country. It begins at Dragonfall and runs west to New Yorkshire, circling around the cities of Aldwell north to Crosswarren, to Steuben, passing west near Elcott, then south through the Sanctuary to eventually return to Dragonfall.
A short road out of Dragonfall passes north to the capital of Aera Ven, and is known as the "King's Way."
The Circled Road is the primary road of the Realm of Aerlon, seeing much travel, and provides access to a majority of the country. Direction is often described in two methods; one was relative to the current location of the individual (for example, a traveler in Crosswarren would travel "south along the Circled Road" to reach Aldwell). The other method was to describe travel relative to the road itself; righthandwise (sometimes clockwise) or lefthandwise (counterclockwise).
