Crosswarren

Crosswarren is the capital of The Warrens and the largest trade city on the continent of Aerlon. It's current reigning ruler is Duchess Amanda Jaine.
Crosswarren is located on the fields of the Warrens, an area comprised of mostly flat-terrain intermixed with rocky outcroppings. The Merrion River, a distributary of the Alewater River, runs east-to-west through the city, separating the residential district to the south from the trade and governmental districts to the north.
The city is surrounded by a 20 foot-tall stone wall, separating it from the outlining farms. Three gates,to the east, south, and west, allow entry into the city. The wall features battlements in the form of crenellated parapets. Two other large gates on the east and west along the river allow boats and sailing vessels entry into Crosswarren to dock and unload wares.
