Rafe Windsong
Human wizard and former Court Magus for the Kingdom of Andor. Windsong was an ally of Crown Prince Leon ConDoin's in the War of the Lion, and later became a recluse once King Garrick II took the throne. A member of the Companions.
History
Rafe rose to prominence as a notable talent in the Mages Guild, and as a teenager he apprenticed to Mordicon, the court Magus for King Edgar I. Rafe would later become famous as a member of the Companions, a ragtag group of adventurers who saved the Kingdom from orcish invasion at the Fall of Ironpass. Later, Rafe was kidnapped by high-ranking members of the Qual'kiri, Keshian wizards who used his magic and blood in the Ritual of Returning. Details are sketchy, but the Returning culminated with Keshian Empress Miranda's abdication of the throne, and the ascension of her son, Vormander, as the third emperor of the Keshian Empire. During the War of the Lion, Magus Windsong sided with Prince Leon. After Leon's death and the ascension of King Garrick, Rafe swore off Kingdom politics and fled to a cave near the coastal town of Caelum to live a life of reclusion. He was not seen again for many years, where at some point he feel victim to a powerful panopitcon spell (though who cast it remains a mystery). He was eventually freed from the arcane prison by the Forerunners, and upon his awakening, he delivered the Seer's Prophecy.Personality
Rafe Windsong is mercurial and often prone to bouts of manical whimsy. Dangerous whimsy.Patches! NO!
