Kin'Saan Watari
Haranoan martial artist, leader of Clan Watari, and current Shogun of Harano. A member of the legendary adventuring group known as the Companions.
History
Kin'Saan grew up in Shibata Province, Harano, learning the fighting arts from a young. His father, Ikuzu Watari ("the Lost Daimyo"), was a relentless instructor, and Kin'Saan led a life of discipline and spartan comfort until he eventually struck out on his own. As part of a diplomatic exchange between Ikuzu and Edgar I, the ruler of the Kingdom of Andor, Kin'Saan sailed east for the Kingdom capital on his twenty-fourth birthday. There, he met the court Magus Rafe Windsong, and Warden Mathias Ares, with whom he struck up a long and enduring friendship. After foiling the kidnapping of Prince Patrick, the three adventurers became known as the Companions, and spent years fighting the Kingdom's enemies in defense of the realm. After the Fall of Ironpass, Kin'Saan returned home to Harano to guide the Watari clan. Distanced from the political upheaval of the Kingdom, the young Daimyo spent years waging political and military war against the sparring clans, eventually uniting them in an uneasy peace and ascending as Shogun of Harano. In 181 KE, alerted by his fellow Companions, Kin'Saan used his extensive spy network to track the Forerunners of Prophecy, eventually sending Ronin Yamamoto Kodo to rescue the group after their battle at the Primeval Citadel. He sailed south with the Forerunners to aid them in their quest, but was eventually ambushed by Kaiwabata assassins and a kraken.Be silent and strike first, like the asp. Enemies will fear your venom, but they will be terrified by your efficiency.
