Propulsion

2 single spool jet turbines power the Mk-JM5s path through the skies. While revolutionary for their time, these Azarga turbines have long been obsolete with the invention of multiple spool turbines with variable thrust and afterburners.

Weapons & Armament

Screechers are armed with a 5 barreled 20mm rotary cannon that fires 1,100 rounds per minute. The internal drum carries 1,000 rounds for the weapon, which last quite a long time with the weapons relatively low cyclic rate. In addition to the main gun, which is designed mainly for air to air combat but also capable of ground strikes, 2 hard points on each wing carry standard rocket pods with 19 in each for a total of 76 40mm rockets.
