Blue Star's History of Ysgard

The mists covering a large swathe of what some believed to be just ocean suddenly receded slightly, and Ysgard's existence was discovered. Many kingdoms salivated at the mouth to colonize and exploit the island for its resources, but only one gave an attempt...

The Hobgoblin Siege was a tremendous event for Ysgard - The first major confrontation in which a force from the mainland was successful. A battle between Dragons Wings and a Hobgoblin tribe that was native to the island.   The ruins of the conflict remain, watched by Overlook Tower, and a reminder of Dragons Wings' progress.

Following rising tensions and even some assaults, The Kingdom of Andrial officially declares war on The Blue Star Empire.   In their declaration, they recognize Dragons Wings as a neutral organization, forcing Blue Star to do the same with a personal envoy from the Royal Guard of Blue Star.   While Blue Star sees' Dragons' Wings bid for freedom as potentially treasonous, The Captain of the Royal Guard, Tharrin Ayornu gave a personal pardon to the Guild in exchange for aid. Of minor note, the Guildmaster, Riswynn Fallack has had his citizenry from Blue Star revoked; now seen as ruler of his own nation, according to Tharrin's parting words.

Dragons Wings launched an assault on a Bone Archdevil's plane itself after The Foreman had summoned him to wreak havoc.   While suffering heavy injuries and even some losses; Dragons' Wings was successful in their assault and managed to close shut the jaws of oblivion. Some demons remain, naturally, but no longer are they arriving in staggering numbers as before.
