Sir Tharrin Garret Ayornu

Serving as the current Captain of the Royal Guard of Blue Star, Tharrin Ayornu is a borderline mythical Aasimar who has been serving the Royal Guard for more than half a century, and is responsible for a number of instrumental successes in most of the endeavors The Blue Star Empire have taken part in to begin with. As such, he is kept on an incredibly short leash compared to the rest of the Royal Guard who are sent slightly more liberally. If Tharrin is sent, then Blue Star is pissed.
He is currently a widow, his wife having been part of the Royal Guard as well and having fallen in battle, and his only son having been killed as well.
Most uniquely of all - while every other Royal Guard is a noble with strong connection to the Emperor, there is no House Ayornu. Tharrin was a commoner who was knighted after his contribution to one of Blue Star's wars, and even before that he was placed in the very same Royal Guard training regiment as the nobles who would normally pay for their children. If not for his immense reputation and effectiveness, this would earn him an unprecedented amount of resentment and spite.
