She married Emeric Belaroth in 934 IC, this was considered scandalous, as she was not of noble blood, having reportedly been born of a prostitute and a tanner.

Personal history
Yesinia's mother was a prostitute known only as "Lily of Templestreet". Her father may have been a local tanner, but this is uncertain. Her mother when Yesinia was quite young.
To survive Yesinia sang, danced and begged on the docks. Here she eventually became associated with the Copper-bit theater, which catered to the many sailors and merchants visiting Azuelae. The shows here were often comic and indecent. Work there did provide Yesinia with regular work and pay. During her teens she learned to read and write by convincing a priest of the Order of Spring Blossoms to tutor her.
At age eighteen she was discovered by famed playwright Reyes Velasco. She played the part of "Lady Grace" in his latest play "Dragons at Midnight". This launched her career in Azuelaen high society.
In 933 duke Emeric Belaroth of Ciello visited Azuelae attempting to compel the country to enter the Great Northern War. Yesinia and the duke began an affair, which resulted in pregnancy, then marriage. In 934 their first of two children were born. They left Azuelae for Cunaris later that same year.
In Ciello Yesinia made it her mission to beautify the capital and improve the court's splendor. This was not merely done for the sake of vanity. Ciello's reputation in the eyes of its friends and rivals improved greatly thanks to her decades long commitment to this cause. This in turn increased the duchy's power and influence.
