Born in Cassopolis, created by a Hag for her plots and schemes.

Raised by the Hag with the intention of infiltrating the Defkalions.

Lived as an "orphan" and endeavored to get noticed by the Defkalions for recruitment.

Recruited by the Defkalions and underwent rigorous training to become one of them.

An older Defkalion, Roderic, discovered Ren's changeling nature but kept the secret, observing his genuine dedication to protecting others.

Took the Trial of Blood, a dangerous rite that brings out latent magical abilities, and survived.

His changeling blood interacted uniquely with the trial, granting him a Lycan curse that enables him to transform into a werewolf.

Viewed his transformation as a punishment and, in a moment of vulnerability, confessed his and his Hag mother's plot to Roderic.

Roderic, rather than punishing him, tasked Ren with aiding the Defkalions in hunting down his Hag mother as proof of his loyalty.

Successfully led the Defkalions to his mother, ensuring her downfall.

Sindri, another Defkalion, became suspicious of Ren’s intimate knowledge of the elusive Hag and confronted him.

Upon discovering Ren's true nature, Sindri attempted to kill him.

Roderic intervened, resulting in a confrontation that cost him his life at Sindri's hands.

Roderic's last act was to bequeath his sword to Ren, a special Defkalion blade that stores the knowledge of all its previous wielders, massively boosting Ren’s intelligence.

Forced to flee from the Defkalions, Ren returned to Cassopolis, the only other place he knew.

Now, he must navigate life with the complexity of his past, his changeling nature, and the wisdom and memories stored in Roderic's sword.
