Fabien Belaroth
Prince-Consort Fabien Belaroth
Fabien Belaroth was a member of House Belaroth who married Leonarda, queen of Myzia. He died during the peasant's revolt in 976. Nobody is quite certain if the peasants killed him, or if he died of natural causes.
Fabien is most famous for killing a Prince Varric of Trumm in duel in 920. Fabien had accused Varric of cowardice after the latter kept his fleet in port to avoid battle during the Spice Crisis of 919. The duel was witnessed by most members of the Myzian court, including Princess Leonarda. If tavern tales are to be believed it was this act of honourable slaughter which convinced the future queen to allow Fabien to court her.
