Battle of Ra Tanur

In 988 @Khandar assembled a great fleet, led by the favoured son of The Shahanshah prince Gotazes. This force was met off Cape Ra Tanur by the Common Fleet of the Northern League  and suffered defeat. However, the League flagship Porvenir was boarded during the battle, and was scuttled by her own crew. She sank with massive loss of life.
In the aftermath of the battle many thousand crew members of surrendered Khandari ships were executed by drowning.
