It is situated right outside the main headquarters of The Imperial Terran Federation in the city of Christiania in Norway. Ever since its construction, this gigantic statue has served as a beacon of hope for all mankind, reminding them of the enormous sacrifice undertaken by Ludwig to save mankind from the corruption of the breaker over a millenia ago, during the dark days of mankind.
Purpose / Function
The statue itself serves as a monument to the events of the calamity, the series of events that led to the near extinction of mankind and how mankind survived the calamity through the valiant efforts of Augustus Ludwig, and under his dynamic and legendary leadership, become the strongest race and dominant superpower in the milky way galaxy
History
Cinders of the cataclysm
In the immediate aftermath of the Calamity, human civilization was in ruins. Across the world , most of mankind lay either dead or dying, with many of them becoming the fodder for carrions. Seeing all of this destruction, Ludwig began to cry after thinking that all his efforts were in vain. After a while however, he made up his mind to rebuild mankind from the ashes, stronger and more resilient than ever. The monument itself was built after Ludwig proclaimed the formation of The Imperial Terran Federation at a meeting with the rest of the worlds surviving leaders.

Hello, friendly feedback wizard here...now IN SPAAAACE! A short article from Redclaw is always a delight, and a place like this is perfect for a short article. Most of your articles are incredibly detailed and filled to the brim, but it's good to give more of a glimpse into a world than a panoramic view sometimes. One thing that would really elevate this article is to go more into what the monument means for the people of Earth in a more concrete way. Do people visit it like a pilgrimage site or is it more of a touristic appreciation? You can even expand on this in the sidebar, which would also give the "Type" section a friend. Also, a picky CSS thing, but the link in the quote is the same colour as the rest of the text. Even just a minor colour change would be make it pop out a little more.
