Time Feathers

Ey! Scribble! Doft he', o'Keld'a smoosh'ia fore'ia bop!
— Keld, a Goblin Feather holder, threatening Tara
Time Feathers are relics of power seen as sacred by the Kumans. There is said to be twelve of them spread all over Acate.

Origin

Panahon, the metal bird god of time, is said to have flown around the world, and with its powerful wings shook free some of its own feathers. They fell to the surface of the planet, to be lost until mortals found them again. Being the god over time, Panahon's feathers would likely also have time-based properties, or at least, that's what the Kumans assume.

Physical Attributes

Time Feathers look like thick, shined-iron plates, fashioned to look like a pinion. They're about 8in in length and 2in in width, but incredibly dense and heavy for how they appear, weighing about 4.4lbs. They don't appear to rust, and are incredibly sharp at the edges. The quill itself is also very pointed, but safe to hold compared to the rest of it.

Magical Attributes

While they haven't been experimented with extensively, a few cases show their true power:

Keld, a feral goblin chieftain, has a Feather in his possession. He has figured out that using it, he can reverse time up to five seconds into the past. He can retry anything within a five second window an infinite amount of times, so long as he has it in his hand. Using this he rose to power quite quickly and has earned the fear-respect of goblins in the surrounding area.

Marielle, on the other hand, embedded it into her ex-lover, hoping it would give them Awakened powers. Instead, it altered their body's composition completely, making them an inhuman golem. It did give her ex-lover powers, but they weren't time based, strangely enough. This being became known as Lahatiel.
