Church of Pelor

The Church of Pelor is the most predominant church in Absalon. While widely adopted in the human nations, it is headquartered in The Center. The church of Pelor follows a strict monastic tradition, with a established hierarchy.
During the War of the Mad Ones, this church, along with the government of the Center helped galvanize the Alliance against the Elves. This was the driving force between the spread of Pelor throughout Absalon, as well as the fervor that it's follows feel toward this faith.
The church, working with the national and local governments, are also responsible for many educational, societal and humanitarian efforts throughout Absalon.

Monastic in it's structure with various layers of authority with the Ecumenical Patriarch of The Center being the highest in the order.
