Hypnos

"hmm? Ah! Would you look at that! New people! Yes yes, I do expect the usual 'where the Hell am I?' and... you'd kind of be right! Welcome to Chthonia, if you continue down there, you'll be right where you belong. I just need to say though, this place is much better than it looks! Just get used to it, like the rest of us did, alrighty?"
- Hypnos, greeting a fallen battalion of soldiers
Originating from the sunken world of Chthonia, recently released from within the Thevagon Isles, of Aitso, Hypnos is a divine being. He is the God, and Personification, of Sleep. He has an average height with slender frame, and has pale, lightly grey skin with no scars, pigmentations, or blemishes on his body at all. Hypnos is a passive deity, he often finds himself intervening with those who know of his existence, by simply communicating to them through telepathy. His intentions are nearly always light-hearted. In the end, he just wishes to enjoy the company of somebody before moving onto the next. In people's dreams, he offers guidance, consultation, and practically therapy.
Appearance-wise, Hypnos dons the most comfy outfits he can lay his hands on. Although this is not always needed, due to his ability to simply sleep wherever he decides to. He wears little to no jewellery, or has any form of body modification. It is just himself, and his outfit. His eyes are completely hazed, yet he seems to show no problems with his vision. Due to being the personification of sleep, Hypnos does not get roughened skin, or anything that'd be considered rough. Thus, he does not need shoes for travelling. Outfit-wise, Hypnos wears a red coat with blue outlines, with a furred neck-warmer. If he ever needs to be warmed up, he also keeps leggings on hand, stuffed within a navy bedroll. Also, he keeps woolly gloves, an eye mask, and a scarf, all for if he requires an extra moment of rest, or to be more comfy.
A cheerful fellow. Hypnos is often seen as an over-excited individual. He often stumbles along his words, or corrects himself when correcting is not needed. Hypnos, if awoken, could get grumpy, and often pouty with those he already knows. Compared to his fellow deities in Chthonia, like Oneiros, Charon, and Thanatos, he is seen as the most emotional of them all. Which is why he was given the position of the 'doorman'. He is positioned after the Boatman's Fortress, and for his job, Hypnos lets others pass on through to certain areas in Chthonia. Of course, thanks to his nature to sleep often, many just end up falling into the river of souls. It only makes it worse that his original position was seen as a weak position, design-wise. Tucked away off of the main river amongst other temples and buildings. It meant very few people actually got to meet the God.

When the Chosen Adventurers of the Overworld, from the The Adadis Courthall had arrived to Hypnos' home, he had offered them guidance through the lands of Chthonia. They requested specifically for a Divine Blessing, to aid in the defeat of Malus, the Charred Colossus. However, the blessing that Hypnos could give would not be sufficient in that specific fight. So instead, he gave himself to be a guide for the four adventurers, in the Chthonian area. From his help, they had passed through the marshland in Eurydice's domain, and with her help had crossed over to the Aspect of Elysium, on the other side of the cliff face of Chthonia. It was the domain of Oneiros, who had fended off the adventurers by constructing their nightmares. His alliance with the adventures grew to accompany Thanatos as well, and together they defeated the God of Dreams, and travelled to the Nyx Skyline.

Allies

Hypnos keeps all of his close allies in his family. Of course, there are a few exceptions, such as the adventurers who he had met. In particular, he has a close bond with Thanatos. The two were raised around the same time, by Ever-Mother Nyx. As brothers, they kept each other close and had stayed close allies for when they rose to proper Godhood. They each play hand in hand, and often meet up every few years for a month. When it comes to their Mother, Nyx, though, she took up the challenge on teaching them right from wrong. Hypnos also sees allies in Oneiros, from time to time. The Furies, and Nemesis also make themselves close friends to the God of Sleep. Megaera has shown a minor romantic interest in Hypnos, however the Sleep God had not noticed, and hasn't known since. Although he does have a massive crush on her, just unknown that his feeling can be recipocated.  His work with Nemesis is very common, he makes people dream of revenge, making them both stronger.

The Cosmic Dreamoire

Wondrous Item, Very Rare (Requires attunement by a wizard)   This book is covered in a soft, white design. It cannot get dirty. Made to be like a pillow, this book also contains powerful magical spells. It contains the spells Alarm, Sleep, Phantasmal Force, Catnap, Leomund's Tiny Hut, Mordenkainen's Private Sanctum, and Dream. Bedding of Beauty Sleep

Wondrous item, rare   This bedroll is large enough for one Small or Medium-sized creature. It is thick and fluffy, keeping one warm in the cold, yet well-ventilated, keeping one cool in the heat. If you take a long rest in the bedroll, you gain the following benefits, which last for 24 hours or until you have any levels of exhaustion.
Distracting Beauty. After a night in this bedroll, your features glow with vitality, you move with an unnatural grace, and your voice becomes like birdsong. Other beings are easily distracted by such beauty, and are less likely to notice little falsehoods or subtle movements. When you take a long rest in this bedroll, you gain advantage on all Charisma checks so long as the target can see or hear you and is not immune to being charmed. Also, you may make Sleight of Hand checks using Charisma instead of Dexterity.
Enthrall. You gain the ability to cast the enthrall spell, and may cast it a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once) without requiring spell slots. The ability modifier for this spell is Charisma. You lose any unused uses of this spell when you lose the benefits of the bedding.
