By sand, and by sea.House Vargas is one of the Adilla Nation political families. As nobles, Vargas was a dominant figure in politics, most of the adult members to the family were on councils, seats in parliament, and other forms of committees to governing the Adilla Nation. Originating from the southern portion of the Sea of Sands, the Vargas family grew in power, being royal family to what old, forgotten nation would've been there. Soon, it'd be taken over by the Adilla Nation, turned into a province for the nation. Through a single duel, for the freedom of the Vargas' homeland, they failed. Many generations of esteemed rivalry would delve into a friendly relation between the two. Bello royalty and Vargas nobility could co-exist, making close connections with one another.- Vargas Crest.
Vargas would have control over a nation in the central section of the Sea of Sands, whilst still in power. This nation would be known as Catalacia, which stretched from the centre, down onto the southern coastline. Catalacia is known for it's simple, sandstone buildings. Each settlement is made to reflect the family crest. However, this rule does not include any solitary buildings, such as any estates that House Vargas has ownership of, such as Estrella Manor . Estrella Manor is their primary home, where they keep themselves, and only personal items of importance. Other places like Alcazaba Vargas, hold their magical items, and treasuries.
However, House Vargas was doomed to fall. In the year 6 FL, a siege done by the Dragon Queen's Cult. One of the many artefacts held by the Vargas family was the Red Dragon Mask. This siege involved many mercenaries and mages storming all of their castles and forts. Every member of the Vargas family was slain. Men, Women, Children, all because they'd not tell the leaders of these invaders where the mask was. In fact, they did not know themselves, as the Red Dragon Mask had actually belonged to the Adilla Nation. All of the conflict, was reduced to being a futile action. This left only one member left in the land of the living.

The last leader to the Vargas family, Hugo Vargas was a skilled diplomat for the Adilla Nation . Known for his charisma and public speaking, Hugo would make a name for himself in establishing peace and order for those under his domain. Becoming head of the Vargas made this human become arrogant and overly brave. He angered many groups with his radical speeches, which would soon lead to this once proud noble down to depravity, angering a group of powerful mercenaries and sell-swords. With the raid done by the Cult of the Dragon Queen, it'd involve both of these forces attacking Estrella Manor and the Vargas Familia's other settlements and notable buildings. Hugo Vargas, despite his mixed actions, would be soon seen as a hero to those who still know of the Vargas. He defended the rest of his family to his last breath.Miguel Vargas
The heir to leadership to the organisation, Miguel Vargas was a top general of the Adilla Nation , commanding a powerful fleet named The Fair Hand . These soldiers were meant to protect innocent lives, and to aid those in need. Miguel would always lead their fights, donning an Ankheg armour set. During the fateful siege that ended the Vargas heritage, Miguel charged his forces into battle, only to be stopped by a crossbow bolt to the shoulder. When he had turned around, the command of an official had his entire fleet empty their bolts from their armaments into Miguel. Miguel was dead before he hit the floor. His armour set is said to be worn by the official who did this, who is now a mercenary, alongside Lord Malison.Notable Locations
Estrella Manor
Built in a solitary desert, surrounded by tropical trees. This manor has been emptied since the slaughtering of the family tree. Although, in recent times, it has been broken into many times by an unknown warrior of undead origin. Estrella Manor was the private home for the Vargas family, each family member having their own room, as well as access to a hidden courtyard in the centre of the manor. With a group a staff who take care of cleaning, and meals, yet still giving the family a sense of morality with lessons, to keep them from turning to gluttony and bratty behaviour. Whilst this home was still in use, it's representative would most likely be it's most popular family member. Before the Vargas were all assassinated, their leader was Hugo Vargas.Estrella Manor would be the final building in control of the House. It's collapse from power occurred with many powerful mercenaries, such as Lord Malison, who ended up being Hugo's killer. Estrella Manor would have partial destruction, the collapsing of towers and areas in the building being heard for miles, as well as the screams of innocent nobles being slain.
