Pierre Marchand
Steward Pierre Robert Marchand
Pierre Marchand is the current steward of the Royal Bank of Havere and a close personal friend to King Pierre Du Mer VIII. His stewardship of the Royal Purse excellent yet unremarkable. He runs the bank more of a risk-adverse manager rather than a daring visionary, but one would say that is an excellent quality in the man who controls the crown's gold.

Personal history
The office of Steward of the Royal Bank of Havere has been in the Marchand family for several generations, so when Pierre was born and King Pierre Du Mer VIII was born several years later, it was known that the pair would be ruling Havere together.
Pierre Marchand grew up with the crowned prince as his best friend. With both having the same first name, Marchand grew up going by his second name Robert among those close to him, including his best friend Pierre du Mer.
When his father retired from his position as steward, Marchand was appointed immediately by King Pierre to take over his position. Now having been there for almost 15 years, he has come to be wise and level-headed adviser and trusted voice on the Trade Council of Havere .
Education
Pierre Marchand was personally tutored by his father and the other royal tutors many of which were either heads in the government or professors at the nearby Royal Academe du Havere. Like his father, he had a pension for numbers, but also received the standard education of history, philosophy, religion, literature, science and arcane.
Employment
In his late adolescence, while still receiving lessons from his tutors his father employed him in the Royal bank. At first he was an apprentice book keeper and became a full book keeper two years later. Slowly throughout the years he was moved to different parts of the organization learning and moving up until he was appointed as Director of Operations, his father's second.
When his father passed away, King Pierre appointed him as the new Steward.
