Unnangak (Oo-nan-gahk)
Unnangak is a major permanent city on the eastern coast of Kivuiq. Unlike many settlments in Kivuiq, Unnangak is built in stone and bone, and features a large palace with a deep vault that is said to house treasures from across the ages. Currently ruling is Queen Kalaisi, with her husband Nanuut. Though the pirate-run settlement of Leviathan's Wake is not far to the south, Unnangak seems surprisingly untroubled by piracy.
The major religion of the area is the worship of Adhar, Uvi the Ship Breaker, Ravi the Wave walker, as well as Orochi, who bore them. Additionally there is a strong worship of Tuniit, known as Bhuer in Barraskr, and those who are nomadic travelers also pay great respect to Adhar, who taught them to navigate with the stars, and to divine their future from them. Eastern Kivuiq also believe that their souls live in the stars of Adhar, and guide them.
Demographics
Largely a human settlment, Unnangak is also home to some Tabaxi, as well as Dwarves and Goliath who have sailed across the Titan's Grave pass.
Government
A monarchy, but one which tends to be fairly lax in its governance, operating more as a clan than a large city.
Defences
Ice wall, the cold itself, a few cannons that are not often used.
Infrastructure
The palace, made of the bones of enormous beasts, supported by stone and carved throughought with ice sits on a tall hill, and can see down over the city in all directions, and down unto the harbor. The main city is separated from the harbor by a large ice wall that was, in the past, used to protect the city from piratical incursions.

Points of interest
The Palace is said to be home to a great treasure trove, and is itself very beautiful to behold.
The harbor and market ward are also very popular destinations for travellers who come this far.
Tourism
Not a ton, Kivquiq isn't exactly a toursit destination in general.
Architecture
Strongly features domed roofs and intricately carved columns of ice, which are usually carved to tell a narrative of the place or family who lives there. The columns of the palace tell the entire history of the settlement, going back farther than the palace itself.
Climate
Tundra coast.
