Kivuiq (Kiv-oo-ique)
Inspired by the Inuit and tribes of Siberia, Kivuiq is a nation in the loosest sense of the term - they are ruled by the Council of Crowns -kings and queens who each rule an individual city-state. Most of these are fairly small and not permanent in their location but others are built in stone and bone and have stood for centuries. Kivuiq's landscape is dominated by the Mammoth Steppe and the frozen shores. They are connected by a landbridge to Kullervo-Kughlain, but that land bridge is home to the inhospitable Titan's Grave Mountains.
Among the permanent settlements are the Eastern city of Unnangak and the Western city of Pangak, and the central city of Avvaliku
Notable areas include the Rainbow Mountains in the southwest, the Endless Plains which mark the center of Kivuiq, and the Hidden Thrones, a hilly landscape in the south east. [
Structure
Each of the City States has a "King or Queen." Most city states are actually semi-nomadic, but all have an independant say in their territories.
Culture
Kivuiq is vast and its people are separated by distance, by cold, and by dangers, so each city state has a unique culture.
Unnangak for instance has a reputation of euridition, their royal line often producing scholars. Pangak, alternatively, tends to be more pragmatic, their King or Queen chosen from the best of their Hunters, and often challenged by those who think they are wortheir of the crown.

Assets
Kivuiq is known for its hunting of Mammoth, Whales, occasionally sea serpents and Dragon Turtles and even the fabled Rhemorahz. Furs and meat are their primary resources.
