The Polish Liberation Army

The Polish Liberation Army is an underground resistance movement led by Józef Piłsudski. They hold some parts of The Polish Socialist Republic engaged in battle with Soviet forces in the nation.


History:

After the fall of the Second Polish Republic by June 1919, Jozef Piłsudski fled to the city of Wałbrzych and craved out a small resistance backed by the Czech's. As the new, Polish Socialist Republic struggled to deal with the insurgencies, the Army continued to march taking more land along the border with Czechoslovakia. Soviet troops increased by 1921 until a revolution toppled their backers, causing them to turn on them and backing The Soviet Union. The Army received a massive boost in 1922, after the land transfer that caused Poland to lose all its land rewarded to it after The Great War.

Weakened but Strong:

By 1923, operations against the Army led to them retreating from Kłodzko, however, their numbers have only increased leading to the possibility of them retaking the city.
