Takavar

The Watchful Mountain

South of Dum Ramil City, Takavar is a large town situated within a mountain range that forms a natural barrier between the Kartegis Desert and the Godless Lands. While not as vast as Al-Baytra or Dum Ramil City, it serves as an essential stronghold, providing a defensive outpost and a center for mining and metalwork.

The Bastion of the South

Takavar stands as a fortified border settlement, ensuring that incursions from the Godless Lands do not spill into Dum Ramil’s territory. It is built within a mountain pass, allowing it to control a critical route that connects the two regions.

  • The Iron Gates: A massive fortress built into the mountains, guarding the only passage leading east.
  • The Forge District: Renowned for its blacksmiths and artisans who craft weapons, armor, and tools essential for Dum Ramil’s warriors.
  • The Sanctum of Wind and Stone: A temple dedicated to the spirits of the mountains, where mystics claim to hear the voices of the land itself.

A City of Iron and Stone

Unlike the wealth-driven Al-Baytra, Takavar is a city of warriors, miners, and survivalists. The town has a reputation for its harsh lifestyle and unbreakable people, many of whom serve in Dum Ramil’s elite forces or as mercenaries in conflicts beyond their borders.

Despite its ruggedness, Takavar plays a vital role in supplying Dum Ramil with ore, stone, and soldiers, ensuring the faction’s continued dominance across the desert.
