Mining District
The Mining district is one of Qu'sra's oldest and it shows. The buildings here are all stone and iron.
Although one can buy fine metal work and jewelry here, it is where the lower class citizens live and seems a bit more aged than other parts of town.
There's a layer of soot from forges that gets cleaned off every third day.
The most notable mine here is known as the Soothill Mines. The first hundred feet or so are retired mines and have been converted to residence and businesses. Below the more developed parts, the mine descends for almost one-thousand five-hundred feet and has a variety of snaking tunnels which one could easily get lost in or worse...

- Bubbler - An alchemist and potion smith. Also interesting glassware.
- Doctor Hanelit's Clinic - In a rundown shack in a bad part of town, a half-orc woman runs reception. Give her your appointment card, and she'll tear off the planks from the back wall where you can meet Dr. Nehantil, a 'physician' with cheap prices and even cheaper services, no questions asked.
- The Edge of the World - A selection of unique and beautiful weapons. For those who are serious about being swordsmen.
- GIlder's Gold Emporium - Gold jewelry, gold chains, gold pocket watches, gold anything...for a price.
- Piander's Books - A poorly lit bookshop filled with books of ancient lore. Run by a seemingly mute man in a dark cloak, he watches visitors closely from the shadows.
- To the Point - A budget blacksmith with straightforward items
- Discount Na'ma and More - A budget restaurant which fluctuates in quality from day to day. But hey, it's only 2 copper!
- The Cave - An all mushroom restaurant, all grown in house.
- Slick's - A grungy dive bar frequented by mining folk. Pool every Tuesday.
- Stewing and Brewing - A series of stews and drinks. Good portions, affordable prices.
