Edsah'nd is a Junk Crab known to the people of Menominee and Escanaba as Ed Sand. He spends his time in the waters of the Menominee River and Green Bay and offers his services repairing ships, vehicles, power armor and the like.
Ed Sand offers his services for scraps and junk. He has his own regard for the worth of things that is often wildly at odds to the value of the services he provides. He does not value currency at all, except insofar as he has learned to use it to obtain items he holds of actual value. He finds people who value currency as silly and foolish and will gladly take advantage of their desire for it.

Ed Sand is a bit of a local legend. The inhabitants of Menominee and Escanaba know him as the eccentric tinkerer who will perform "free repairs" on just about anything. He is the primary go-to guy for repairs by pirates and anyone else desperate enough (or wise enough in a crazy sort of way) to seek his services. And while his services are paid for by mere scrap and junk, some view his repairs with distaste because they are often irreversable or beyond further maintenance by anyone other than himself.

Ed Sand has an amicable and somewhat symbiotic relationship with a water serpent he calls "Sheridan" that is known to frequent the waters of Green Bay and the Menominee River. It considers the remains of the Menominee dam to be its lair and Ed Sand has given the lair some upgrades in return for protection and leftovers.
Family Ties
Ed Sand has a mate named Heezy somewhere in the great Lakes. They see each other periodically, but otherwise don't cohabitate. She is a wanderer sort and will socialize with the other Junk Crabs in the great lakes.

Very agreeable and will talk your ears off if asked about anything mechanical.
Mannerisms
Every time he speaks he begins with "Frrr" and ends with "Frrr." If anyone has earned his disrespect, however, he uses "Pshhh." He reserves "Lummm" for his most intimate relationship with his family, and will not use that even in public unless surrounded by close friends.
Speech
Given to histrionics, Ed Sand will use hyperbole and exaggerate nearly everything. If someone speaks with him without using the status et finem, he will visible shudder, turn his head and look at them with a side-eye, muttering something about how everyone on this planet is so rude.
