Documenting the Fun

General Summary

The session report is the only template of its kind. Use it to document the sessions of a campaign you are running. Outside of this you will probably not need this template.   Session reports can be made in the world like any other article or directly from a session run in the campaign manager. When creating the session report from the session it is connected to that session and some of the fields will be filled in automatically. A session report that is created like a regular article is not connected to a system session and cannot be connected to one after the fact. This is useful for example when you run your campaign at a table and don't use the campaign system on World Anvil at all.

Rewards Granted

(REWARDS GRANTED)   Use this field to document what rewards the players got in this session. Keeping an overview of this can be useful to manage the campaign progress and balance future encounters around these rewards.

Missions/Quests Completed

(MISSIONS / QUESTS COMPLETED)   Use this field to keep track of any missions or quests that the party completed in this session. In some systems this is important to keep track of advancements or might just be good to know for the players.

Character(s) interacted with

(CHARACTER(S) INTERACTED WITH)   Use this field to keep track of any characters the party interacted with during this session.

Created Content

(CREATED CONTENT)   Use this field to keep track of any new things you created during the sessions. Link their articles if you made them or expand things noted down here into their own articles once they become important enough.

Related Reports

(RELATED REPORTS)   Use this field to mention any other session reports that contain relevant information.

Notes

(NOTES / EXTRA MATERIAL)   A place to put any other notes you might have on this session.
