Legend of the First Loyalists

The loyalists were a faction founded long before written history began. It was in a time when Cassidy was still in her original dragon form. One day she came into contact with some humans. She was curious about them as they seemed different than the animals she had encountered so far. She remembered similar groups of these same creatures from before but something had changed. Some of these creatures had a connection to the supernatural world.

This connection drew Cassidy to those humans who ran in fear once they saw the massive dragon approach them. She landed close to them as they were running away. A mother and her child fell down. Cassidy lowered her massive head towards them. She could sense their fear. Using her teleempathy she reached out to the little girl. The girl calmed down quickly as she understood that she was not in any danger.

From this first contact a short friendship came to be. The tribe of the girl started to worship the dragon and was lead by the high priestess. A woman inheriting the ability to communicate with the Great Dragon. Over several centuries this bin continued from generation to generation. Over the years the communication between the dragon and the humans improved. Eventually, Cassidy felt that her form was too much of an obstacle for here to truely interact with these humans. They've started to develop more complex societies and their power started to rise as well. She found a group of sorceres who she asked to help her transform her form into that of a human. After many years of research and a few unsuccessful attempts they finally succeeded. This group of seven sorcrers were the first loyalists as they swore their loyalty to Cassidy after her transformation.
