Dragonic Teleempathy

Yes, I think communicating with emotions is much more rewarding. I could build much deeper connections with other dragons than with humans. Not being able to lie isn't something that was a problem for us since it was simply impossible to fake emotions. So, I suppose we were a very truthful people compared to you humans.
The language of the dragons. They developed this language as part of the dragon heart power. It began with only transferring simple emotions. Over time the dragons gained more control over their emotions and were able to create more nuanced expressions of them.   The emotions can be assisted with body movements and sounds. These are not necessary and are only used to emphasize a point made with a strong emotional outburst.

Complex Emotions

Dragons have a wide range and complex emotions. The dragons combine these emotions with context to create complex meaning and describe concepts. The dragons had a deep understanding of both the supernatural and natural worlds.   The ability to control emotions is very important to hold a full and complex discussion. As a result, for many dragons losing control of their emotions is considered a weakness.

Dialects

The various dragon nations have developed variations in how to express themselves. Dragons communicating with different dialects can still understand each other but need some time to adapt to certain differences.   The most common dialect is lower dragonic, spoken by most of the continental population. There are some regional differences within the lower dragonic dialect. This dialect is spoken by the lower classes. The noble castes of the dragons talk in high dragonic. The speakers of high dragons believe that is a more difficult and refined way of communicating in dragonic.   Two special dialects are aquatic and subterranean dragonic, which have many variations due to the differences in habitats.

Names
Dragons refer to each other by expressing the emotion they feel for them the most. From the context, other dragons will usually be able to understand who they are talking about. This means that, over time, the way a dragon refers to another may change as their emotions for them change.   A few very famous dragons have a very specific emotion attached to them which is shared by many dragons and then adapted by even more.

I love this. Such a simple idea, but I love all the implications of it. The part about names and how the dragons refer to each other is the most interesting part, I think. I also love that there are dialect variations of it.

Yeah the names thing started as a though on the side, but maybe I will expand on it some more in the future.   The dialects are really just natural for me as they are an integral part of Swiss-German.
