Adirondack Druid Circle
The druid circle is a semi formal organization that meets up once every month. All druids of the region are members of this circle.
The circle is used by the druids to discuss issues they are facing and to find a consensus on how these issues should be handled.
The decisions made in the circle are not binding but can pressure the members to act in accordance with them anyway because if a super majority decision has been made then those that were against it are generally expected to fall in line. However, votes are only very rarely called as the circle usually tries to find a compromise that everyone can agree on.
Without membership the druid has less prestige and standing within their territories communities.
The druids settle disputes which occur over the territory borders. Should the issue span two territories then the two responsible druids will try to resolve the issue together and if they cannot they will call on the archdruid to support them. In cases where an issue spans more than two territories the archdruid is almost always called to handle the issue as it is difficult to coordinate any efforts otherwise. The druids of the affected territories will of course offer their advice to the archdruid.
Despite its name the circle includes all druids from New York State and any druids where their territory ventures into the State at least some. The Archdruid of New York is the leader of the circle and leads all the meetings. However, the archdruid cannot order the other druids to take any action. They can only make requests of the other druids as the archdruid has no way to compel them to act a certain way. Only with a majority of the circle can a member be pressured to take action on a certain issue.
