Golden Falls is every Terran’s dream city. A large, bustling metropolis filled with the constant buzz of people walking the streets or business booming. Housing in the city is all set up around the Great Yilyaun Falls which provides a beautiful backdrop to live near. On top of that, the city itself is entertainment central. Where most of the cities and settlements on Chatau’s Landing are under the ever watchful eye of Terra Novus, Golden Falls is free of TN’s scrutiny.

Districts

There are 21 districts in Golden Falls. Three of them are housing districts, eight of them are community districts that host various entertainment centres, six are business districts that host some of the Terran’s richest CEOs, and four of them are located in the underbelly. The most notable districts are the Yilyaun Living Quarters, the High Fliers District, the Diamond Quarter, and the Soul Cross District.

Soul Cross

As part of the underbelly, Soul Cross is home to a host of criminals - the most famous of which is undoubtedly Lillian Horner and her Harrowing Hearts. Though crime is through the roof in this district, they hide it well. So well, in fact, that any illegal activities going on here are practically impossible to track unless you are in the know.

Topside may boast a vast amount of entertainment, but Soul Cross offers a lot more in the way of sultry pleasures. From nightclubs with strobe lights and neon signs that never seem to close up, to well organised and well protected brothels. There is a good reason that people refer to Soul Cross as ‘party central’ rather than the ‘criminal heart’ of Golden Falls and the criminals in charge would very much like to keep up that appearance.

High Fliers

This topside district is one of the community districts. For the miles of land it stretches across there are no end of pubs, clubs, gaming centres, sports centres, and the like. Pleasure can be found in High Fliers in almost any form. For darker, more salacious desires, one might find themselves in need of a trip to the underbelly though.

With High Fliers being topside, the organisation in charge - the People’s Association of Golden Falls (PAGF) - has been mindful of keeping the entertainment ‘child friendly’. That means High Flier clubs are a little more tame, though still attractive to those simply looking for a good time, and High Flier pubs tend to have a more family friendly atmosphere.

Diamond Quarter

Home to the top Terran businesses outside of Terra Novus. Expensive and extravagant buildings tower above the skyline, casting shadows over the surrounding districts. For many business men and women, having a central hub in the Diamond Quarter of Golden Falls is the be all and the end all. It shows that you have class, an endless supply of wealth, and proves that your business is 100% reliable.

The tallest building in the Diamond Quarter, at a massive 1088m tall, is the Crown Spire. Owned by Daniel Chen of Sparklife, it is the crown jewel of the Diamond Quarter’s skyline.

Yilyaun Living Quarters

Located at the bottom of the Great Yilyaun Falls, houses in this district are hugely expensive. Boasting an amazing view of the ‘golden falls’ themselves and the surrounding Yilyaun gardens, individuals living in this particular district seem to get the best of both worlds - a city life and an outdoorsy one.

The price range for houses in this district is anywhere between 200 million credits and 450 million credits. The more expensive houses tend to be closer to the Great Yilyaun Falls.
