Plospryn, The Thaw of Spring

Goddess of the Thaw of winter, The final frost, Plowing, Spring, Beauty, Flowers, Growth and Aging

Plospryn is the Goddess of Ambition, Life, Light and Nature. Plospryn is known to be deeply compassionate and nurturing, depictions of her constantly reflecting her aims and passion as she looks after all living things and delights in the natural beauty of the world. She abhors blight and disease, yet has nothing but pity for those afflicted. She is always ready to help nurse what is sick back to health, whether through time or magic. She does not take kindly to those beings that would exploit the natural bounty of the world, or those who abuse good-natured souls.   Her charm is said to be legendary, those in her presence having a clouded mind and finding any thoughts of argument or dispute impossible to retain. She has no compunction in toying with those enraptured by her charm, and is just as likely to teach one a humbling lesson, or to rip a being to pieces if they are not worth her effort. While the cold earth hides from her the plentiful life of the earth, Plospryn understands the balance of the world and waits contentedly for spring. For those times when she can walk barefoot upon the earth, pluck a new wooden staff from the sturdy saplings of yesteryear and spread just a bit more vibrancy into the world.

Holidays

Plospryn Celebrates any Celebration she knows of, If she were to list all of her favorites, it’d just be a list of all of the holidays… But a few of her favorites include: The Melting of the Passes and The Second Call.   The Melting of the Passes: All the poor plants are cooped up during the winters, but when the passes begin to clear, that means the plants are starting to sprout and push through any remaining frost, it’s such a beautiful time of year, watching the world go from somber and cold, to beautiful and green.   The Second Call: The first sprouts are usually a few weeks to a month before all the rest of the plants start sprouting and flowering. It’s the best time of year, as spring finally comes completely into play and readies the world for summer.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Plospryn is generally depicted as a female firbolg with a massive staff that has flowers sprouting from the end of it. She is always depicted as joyful or happy.

Wealth & Financial state

Firn, the Chilled Halfling: The Comfort of home heals many wounds. The binding of a community heals many more. Firn holds the beauty of life within her even as the winter quenches life on the outside. The inside, the area Firn has made for herself is a spring unto itself. Where people find comfort and joy, even in the worst of climates. Plospryn finds Firn to be an amazing being and a grand ally in all things.   Chando Meywa, the Distant Locus: She braves all in search of fate and knowledge of all. What an amazing thing to do! And for her to give knowledge away, to spread it as a salve upon the worlds. What a beautiful being to allow the world to benefit from her benevolence in such a fashion. Plospryn has such great respect for Chando.   Karan, the Spelunking Half-Elf: The Adventurer, the seeker of the riches in the earth. She takes her way through life like a bird learning to fly. Narrow misses and great rewards once she finds how to flap her wings. She takes strolls through lands generally thought twice by any other creature and does so with a smile on her face as she plans her next adventure. Plospryn loves to follow Karan on some of her adventures during the colder days.   MeyGana, Roar of the Sea: The Sailor, the smell of sea salt. She takes her groups through the depths and puts them safely out on the other side. The travellers and explorers under her care are so blessed. They have such a watchful being to aid in their survival. MeyGana has the greatest of places to take one. They are such a great role model for anyone!   The Raven Queen, Courier of Souls: She is so dark, but brave! She made a spot for herself and helps people get to the end of the line! It’s so amazing what the Raven Queen can do! She takes so many people under her wings and carries them away. She doesn’t like the gross areas of decay, and she still works to be a positive force in the world by removing undead and bad things! Plospryn is a fan of the Raven Queen.     Rahz-Pluoht, The Fiery Blade: Have you seen how big Rahz’s Axe is. He has so much fun running through his planes and cleaving away. He hurts people… But they came for that too, to hurt people. At least some of them did. Plospryn doesn’t quite know if she likes Rahz too much, but he seems to have ideals and she respects that. He loves to live life to its fullest and she likes that.   Garma, the Halfing of the Hearth: Garma keeps the fire going. Even after he is finished cooking his wonderful meals. He always invites everyone even though he knows most won’t come. Those that do come, he treats to such amazing meals. He constantly works on reinforcing relationships, helping everyone to like everyone. He and Firn are so well matched. Plospryn loves talking with them both!   Rogalev, the Human Adventurer: Ruthless order, keeping such a splendid balance. He shows his love for his people by getting them to spread more. He enforces his word through stopping them from falling. He is such a great example. His cities have warm spaces in the winter and food for the hungry. He promotes those who seek out new things and places, and watches everything with well-guarded anticipation. What a being to retain his purpose and help those around him to continue for such a time.   MasToch, the Dwarven Flame: MasToch is like Rogalev, but a little nicer. He doesn’t care about all of the cities, but he likes when people celebrate. He watches the Dwarves and loves them. He helps them remember who they are and what they have done. He uses his arms to keep them all together, one giant family. It’s such a beautiful thing to do.   Armide, the Sun Spider: Decay… Death… But, it’s part of the cycle. If things don’t die, new things can’t grow. If areas don’t decay then they stagnate because they don’t need to change. Plospryn thinks it’s sad, but understands why it is. She finds Armide to be one of the strongest of the gods, who else can understand what it’s like to be him? To have to control the death and change… Plospryn Respects Armide to a massive extent, but can’t bear to interact with him to a great extent.   Hextank, Ascendant: He is so cheerful, the massive metal being. He protects people, is so fun and understands even the strangest of things. She doesn’t know a lot about him, but finds him to be an amazing creature just from the little he displays. Plospryn wants to know him better.
