Berlintini I of Berin
Emperor Berlintini Berinus (a.k.a. The dragon toothed emperor of salt, sugar and spice)
A few words about him: Conquered the entire Western Horde (which used to be from Toma in the west all the way to the Chataly river in the east.) and increased the size of each army to 1.2 million soldiers and 400,000 logistics personnel. He sent Army Head Arquado to do the conquering. The campaign started by bypassing the Saniri Mountain range via the coastal road to Ushar (he was afraid of moving an army that size through the mountains because he didn't want most of it to perish and because he wasn't keen on attempting guerrilla warfare with the not really controlled Saniri tribes.) A few years after conquering the Western Horde, Berlintini told Arquado to take Bashur . Though there was initial success (meaning they successfully took the city and it's towns) the final result was appalling. Because the Kingdom of Bashur was a member of the East Hu-Balai Defense Pact (EHBDP) Arquado had to fight a very long and bloody coalition war against the EHBDP who were later joined by the Dalkndalk Auraunuck CCXV of the Unified Kindom's (Auruckshuck and Shayanaha) armies as well as The Great Khan Jimuten of the Guntartar Fifth Khaganate with rebel groups from Bashur, Yunar, Pali, Shi and various other places. Arquado and his army as well as the Western Horde troops and auxiliaries that joined his campaign had to completely withdraw from the East Hu-Balai Because the combined strain of high casualties, fighting a huge allied army which was equipped with better weapons and armor, had brontodragons , and the fact that the Mankan troops had weapons which utilized ballistic jelly (a special jelly only the Mankan people make which explodes when it gets hit very hard or is exposed to a strong shockwave) as well as the other Guntartars. On top of that there was dealing with rebels, guerillas, sabotage and insufficient funds. As a result, the Berini empire receded all the way back to Toma.
Years later, Berlintini I had to suppress a rebellion in Kirshan. He spent the rest of his life improving the empire's infrastructure, he revived the economy, reorganized the legal system and made reforms, sponsored land and sea surveys, founded cities, built roads, universities, schools, ports and started a partial industrialization process (development of water powered machinery and the like to speed up and cheapen manufacturing) and opened many diplomatic or/and trade relations (like with the Rhuli, Kur (their capital is Kurkevan which means "Kur Capital") as well as Galan, the Yu-Baii as well as some of the Emorian tribes in the Bootleg peninsula). He outlived all of his children and he succeeded the empire to his grandson Luwi II. As he was sick in his final years, he had his last survinig son (Angeli III) and later his grandson (Luwi II) rule in his name as his health degraded and he instructed them how to do so. Ascended to the throne at the age of 23, ruled for 70 years. Angeli II's son, died at the age of 93.

Was a very strong and healthy man throughout most of his life. He was a significantly tall person by Berini standards (however, he was quite average for an Ammansi).

He has the imperial hat he inherited from Mario I of Berin as well as an entire wardrobe of fancy colorful clothes including the up-to-date fashion (in his time) and lots of jewelry.

He lost all his teeth by the time he was 68, so had a replacement set made of Dragon ivory (carved from brontodragon teeth) as well as one made from plain elephant ivory.

After the tragic death of his wife, he became unable to fall asleep at night, so he had a different bard sing to him sweet songs every night to ease his thoughts and allow him to drift into sleep. These bards typically came from all around the empire and from abroad,with several of them being Guntartars who would sing to him great collections of songs. These included songs which spoke about seasons, the vast grasslands, the occasional tree groves, the sheperd's devotion to his flock, etc. He also had Yu-Baii singer who sing to him about the sea, the waves, the fish, the salty winds, trading expeditions to faraway lands, new and strange people with their clothes and customs and the marvels of their lands etc. He also had a Bashurian singer in exile who would sing to him songs of strength and resilience, songs that adorned palaces, temples and monuments, songs about seas and ships, songs of children playing in the streets, songs of artisans in their crafts, etc.

Exportation of spices and herbs to places like the Bootleg peninsula, the Hu-Balai, the Endoni and the Saniri Mountains. Exportation of salt to Kur and other regions did nicely as well as well as exporting sugar to many many places and countries. His pseudo-industrialization with water powered machinery aided with make things cheaper and more efficient to produce.
