Margarita Berinus (maiden name: Margarita Lilium) was Berlintini I's wife and sweetheart. She held a lot of power in the Berini Empire and was in charge of hiring and firing people who worked in the palace as well as appointing and relieving the satraps of 2 of the 16 satrapies of the Berini Empire. She is the mother of all of Berlintini I's 7 children (3 sons, 4 daughters) and she arranged all the marriges in the family (she let Angeli marry whomever he wanted because he fell in love with one of Yu-Mai Ashawa's sisters whom he married during Berlintini I's Great War of Coalition (niether the Bashurian queen or her uncle could do anything about it as she was absent and he was a vassal who couldn't disobey his overlord). She married her daughter Cornelia to the king of Kur, She married Lilium to the king of Gurbaz, Gemma to the khan of the Western Horde to complete it's conquest and annexation, and Angelina was married to the king of Chatal. The first one (Cornelia VII), died of a tropical disease in 193 A.B, the one married to the king of Gurbaz (Lilium III) was killed by the Gurbazi king in 176 A.B when he officially entered the war and didn't want a conflict of interests. The one married to the Guntartar khan (Gemma V) was assassinated by Jimuten Khagan in 189 A.B and Angelina contracted tuberculosis and died of it in 206 A.B. Margarita suffered a nervous breakdown and died in 206 A.B by falling backwards off a stool when she heard that Angelina died (losing your children like that is very hard) at the age of 74.

She was known to be very beautiful in her youth like her namesake, the pearl. She is a tall woman by Berini standards. Margarita wasn't known to be an agile person or a very fit one. She shined in her talents in doing business which is why she held the power she had (Berlintini wasn't an idiot when he gave her that power).
