That's where you come in! For 3 years, I have kept most of my stuff private. Only the things I make for challenges are public, and even then, most are made private after the challenge. But throughout these years, I have amassed more than 90 followers that seem to have an interest in this world.
I would like to change things somewhat so that people who engage and are interested in the world can get more of it, and not just during challenges.
I am very humbled every time I stop to think that 90 people are interested in my world. I'd like to make my world more accessible to them (to you!), but to do so, I'd like to know what people who follow the world are interested in.
I have several ideas of how this could work, but I'd like to know what you would be interested in:
- Active followers of the world get similar access as my players, revealing the backbone (but not the secrets) of my world
- Make "the basics" public; that way, everyone can get a better understanding of the world
- Active followers get access to secrets (the stuff my players cannot see)
- Categories or articles can be accessed based on a follower poll of the content they find most interesting
Not a follower of my world?
I limit the number of worlds I follow to those I can keep on top of. But if you have read some of my articles, you may have a vague idea of what my world is about. If that's the case, I am also very interested in your opinion. Are any of the above suggestions likely to make you more interested in becoming a follower?
I am keen to hear your comments or suggestions about how can I make this world a more user-friendly world (and hopefully interesting too).
I think a good idea would be that active followers would have a similar access to your players, but perhaps there could be an option to 'opt in' to secrets?
Mmmm, interesting. Two groups, one of them is an opt-in for people who don't mind spoilers. Thanks for your contribution!
