Day 6: Hope?

We were not even awoken by Master Black Staff this morning with a mission to complete.
Instead we go out and find an airship flying right up to the floating castle.
I caught snippets of conversations about how these adventurers are our last ditch effort to save this world, and how they closed the Croatoan gate back in Aeos.

Thoughts of the world returning to normal and going home flooded through my mind.

Hope shot through my heart as I saw what I think was a paladin on a horse jump onto the castle and head straight in and from what I could see a strange man in a red hat and another paladin being stopped by a strange armoured being atop a flying white horse.

The unknown being landed and dismounted the horse sending it after the man in the red hat but the man cast a spell which did not look very effective.

The battle drew out but I believe it stopped as the paladin was turned to stone.

My heart sank as I saw the Man in the red hat start to panic and stood in fear then I lost track of what happened as the air ship exploded.

I ran for cover as I heard the screams of the crowd.

Their final hope gone this world was coming to an end.
