it was caleb who taught me to be kind, and it is him i think of when i leave gifts
 
Grim is hurt, missing a toe from the same Pudding that scorched my fur, and i am completely and utterly useless as how to help
 
i have left him several trinkets, little bobbles of smooth glass, glittering metal, and polished stones weaved with twine. it helps to have hands that i cannot still, that are constantly in need to twist and move and create. . .trinkets help
 
i am unsure if Grim knows it is me that leaves these items, but it does not really matter. they are of no use to me and whenever i go to leave another the previous has disappeared. i can only hope they bring him as much comfort in having as they brought me to make
