As it’s said in one of my favorite films “There was a FIREFIGHT!”
Awful brawl that was. Not a big fan of getting down and dirty. Lucky we’re durable or Rufus would have been down and out.
But the pack came together. And we couldn’t have done it without it. It must have been quite the scene, Finn swinging around a 2x4, Barnaby inspiring us to greater prowess, Rufus in War Form, and even I threw some shapes.
It happened pretty fast. Too fast for words, Rufus chose action, so we fell into line and nipped at some proverbial heels. It’s a damn good thing that Rufus was there leading the charge. We wouldn’t have had a chance without ‘em.
Achieved our goal in the end. Found a Locus. So as far as I’m concerned, that's a job well done. So now we have a spot to take a jaunt and drink deeply if we need to. And in a much closer location.
Just wondering now; how should we proceed? Do we start pushing out our borders? Get a tighter hold on what we have? Attract some fresh meat to join us? Or do we just go on with this mortal facade and figure out what else we want to do in our mortal lives?
Well, what I do know. It was good to see the group come together like that.
