Cold Desert to Hot Desert

We ended up back in Galt's and their was talk of teleporting to Svendio to help him with a project. He talked about the coming Hunter's Moon and how it spells doom for this world or something. I gotta write to Ma and Pa a warning to be careful this time. I gave lily back the box I pulled outta the lake with her corpse. She opened it and a black amorphous mass gooped out. It proceeded to warp and twist into a chest thanking for the save. Faena pulled out a bag of coins that all sprouted legs and ran into the chest. It then offered her 2 coins back as thanks. I guess she was given it's babies or something? It then spat out a half digested brain puppy and said how gross it was. It thanked us again and hiked up it's chest-pants and walked out while Alroy warned it of the guards and settlement outside the crypt. Less than a minute later one of the guards ran in a panic saying that the co-guard was tossed off the bridge and that the mimic flew away. We reassured him that it wasn't going to cause trouble. We continued talking to Galt and Alroy pulled out a worm in a vial. He talked about how it transforms inside someone's head to the brain puppies and eventually into another big brain. Quinn shared the result of his magical reading he was taking while Faena drowned herself. I guess there was an intense telepathic communication with the brain and Blair. At one point her Okami Guard fell in. With that we sought them out to try to see what is going on and judge if the Okami got infected.
We made it back to the Drow city and found Blair, her group, Lady Melaria, and her guard having a fest. I sniffed around for that mucusy smell like the crap on the lake, but came up dry. Blair, Quinn, Alroy, and Lady Melaria decide to have a private conversation about the happenings and head to a rather small side room. I ended up sitting guard by the door and I could tell they had some sort of silencing effect going on. One of the Okami was watching me at the door pretty intently and I ended up staring him down. Eventually, Shulk came over and offered me a Fellroot fruit. It was tasty enough drink, so I gave him an apple in exchange. In the book I read it is a naturally fermenting fruit that if picked at the wrong time could be a poison. He was knowledgeable of the underdark, so we chatted about various food things both down here and up top. After a bit, Alroy came outta the room pissed and Quinn immediately started to drink. Something defiantly went down in there. The others drank and ate. I only nibbled as we just ate not a few hours prior.
Quinn decided to go back to Galt for some reason. Blu and I followed him and Faena as I don't want anything to happen to them and I'm sure Rose can handle Alroy. I've never seen him so mad and I'd rather not get in the way of an angry superior officer. Quinn asked if Galt could send a message for him, but he was unable to. Quinn decided to start praying after that. Whatever happened seemed to be troubling to him. I decided to use the down time to teach Blu rock paper scissors. She got the motions down, but after beating her 5-2 she ragequit and threw a chair. The others made their way down here a little after that with Blair and her company in tow. She asked Galt when we were leaving and he pulled out a cosmic pocket watch with planets and shit and told her tomorrow morning. We settled in for the night after that.
The next morning, we awoke to a King's Feast for breakfast from Galt. it was pretty nice up until we left. He told us to brace as he hadn't done a teleportation feat in awhile. After an unpleasant lurch the air was significantly hotter, and Faena lost her breakfast. We had been teleported to Svendio, across the entire continent. He told us to follow the gorge, find a tunnel through the cave, follow the right path and find ruins on the other side. We also weren't supposed to bother the guard. We were to meet him there. Like why cant we just tp right there? Why does he have to leave us here? Whatever, we walked along and made it to the large cavern with a large statue and some sort of snake creatures with elf'-like faces a naga guardian of sorts. Quinn said that they are zealous lawfull good creatures guarding some sort . Best to be left alone. Rose said that she smell an oasis in the distance past this cave with a giant pit. I noticed set of quadrupeds' tracks, from what I was able to tell their was 3 canine creatures walking through this way earlier, but something was different about them... Quinn said something about coyotes, but I'm not sure. Alroy didn't really like what was gong on, so he cast mage armor on me just in case. Blair then pointed out some sort of winged creature on the cliff watching us. The others pay respect and it nodded to us, someone said that it was from a different plane.
We continued down a tunnel until we came to a T and turned right. We came across a cliff with a waterfall and a curious house in the middle of a lake. Continuing, we passed a giant with a warhammer and Rose said something in a weird language. We kept walking through until the caverns got uncomfortable for us Ursine until we came out to a canyon and past into a desert with ancient ruins. They had an old front door with a walled castled that sucame to the ravages of time in the distance. Various armed skeletons watched us as we headed to the ruins. We came to the foot of 6 stories of stairs, and of course we had to go to the top. Alroy, the cheeky bastard, tried to play off that he was climbing, but we could all see him casting some sort of spell beforehand. I think the climb winded me too hard because at the top se saw Rose? well not really, but you don't expect to see another polar Ursine out in a desert. He had a black cloth around his eyes and asked if we were friends of Galt. He was RRRoshin the hand of the true king and he invited us to relax. Quinn took the oportunity to summon water on all of us to cool off. Three wolves appeared, but they looked more plant than wolf. RRRoshin gestured us to some seating.
