The crew was in rough shape when they returned, but I had not the time to deal with it beyond what little I could accomplish on the way to the meeting. Silhara did what she does best (aside from sowing chaos), and got me to the meeting just in time. upon entering, I was informed that we'd be splitting off into separate groups, with myself and Ryar taking a group into an unexplored cave rumored to be connected to an ancient force-woirshipping culture. Needles to say, I was unbelievably excited about this cave - secrets of an ancient force tradition are my bread and butter. The first foray was impeded by some sort of esoteric device that I believe will require Force profiiciency to manipulate. I'm excited to go back and keep digging. If I have time I'd like to visit the museum again. Those artifacts were most interesting and I'm curious if any of the designs tie to what I saw in the cave.
Before the meeting, I printed flyers decrying the threat to the Gungans a Je'sarai temple would pose and placed them all of Theed. At least, that's what I had intended. Apparently the populace misinterpreted my message into believing the gungans are some sort of evil cult, which while still working to disrupt these proceedings, causes me a measure of concern. I truly hope no innocents are hurt as a result of the seeds I planted, Naboo or gungan. Speaking of which, it might be prudent to locate actual gungans and get firsthand accounts of what their position is here (or perhaps sway it). If there's time tomorrow we should do a search of some of the locations that came up in the research I've done.
We found out Ziro wants the Je'sarai temple in his territory, which appears much less sinister than what I imagined. Getting rid of my obligation to him was the primary reason we came here, but I've sensed that something larger is at play. The dark side is at work here, either through misguided Je'sarai or something hidden (NOT Silhara, despite all odds). I feel as though we're where we ought to be at this point in time. This might be why I wa sunable to track the Ashek-stolen datacrons previously - the Force was mitigating less important distractions (though I still intend to recover those 'crons after this is through).
