I still do not know what to make of these Je'sarai. Tal herself didn't seem to care overly much for me, and seemed to assume the datacrons the Asheks stole were gone for good, which certainly isn't how I see it (maybe if this is the case we'll be keeping them or returning them to somewho with more patience). I didn't pay much attention to the child, though she seemed to take a liking to kid and gave him a shard of a krayt dragon pearl (curious that this a child of 6(?) would have this). I also conversed with two of the remaining 4 - Jonna Starfall(some sort of ape-creature) and Ryar (a Pantoran). Both of them seemed vastly more interested in me than Tal was, and Ryar has recruited me to aid in the negotiations with the Naboo. Both of these two seem obsessed with using the dark side, at least more enthusiastic that what I'd consider healthy. Maybe they need more perspective (and some time travelling with Silhara and whatever is inside her). Ryar also seemed to insinuate that the Republic was doomed, which if true was certainly hastened by the fracturing of the Jedi. I have to wonder if this is all coincidence or if some mysterious hand is guiding this.
In addition to Je'sarai, thanks to Syrian and Silhara I had access to several underlings of the Naboo delegation. One of them invited me to join her in researcheing Gungan history in the region of the Gallo mountains where the Je'sarai seek to build a new temple. I happily agreed of course. We learned that the region in question was ceded by the Gungans during their first war with the human settlers, but it may or may not still hold any significance to them still. Unfortunately my time here was cut short - I had another meeting with Darin, a representative of Rime Leaf, at Theed's famous museum. There I encountered a very interesting collection of artifacts that I spent several hours studying (perhaps innapropriate right now), during which Darin and I talked at length about the Force and the dangers the Je'sarai temple might present. I think I convinced him enough that he'll bring these concerns to his boss, withot exposing my involvement.
Syrian's pirate friends attacked us again, resulting in Kid's capture. I did not go with the girls on the rescue mission (having to work towards our primary goal), but most of the vibrations I've felt suggest that everything resolved without any of them losing their lives. Fortunate, though I do not have much time to dwell on them, there's still prep work to be done before the meeting. I've considered flying the Jade Owl to the proposed build site and doing a first-hand investigation, but that may turn up with nothing but lost time. At the very least I'll be checking our datahorde for anything I can use against the Naboo delegation.
