T&T Episode: Return to the Carnival

Opens on the team eating breakfast in the tavern, in walks Morden Kainen.
 
Capt. Pauly sends the ship and crew back to Verdant.
 
Teleported back to the Witchlight Carnival.

  • The carnival is in disrepair, crying instead of laughter, dying greenery etc.


    • We know - The witchlight carnival was originally run by Shadowfell Elves
     
    Ticket master is now a brain in a jar
    'Beans', the hunched over security guard.
     
    Two new(?) proprietors:
    Dark skinned female shadowfell elf with a red sword - Azold
  • "This carnival is mine by right" Original owner?

  • Was an adventurer from the fae wilds

  • Has a Patron who placed her in charge of the carnival - Was it Desire?

    • Patchwork skinned woman - Elise, has an item wrapped up on her back
     
     
    Pauly's bald patch is revealed!
     
    Pauly & Sorn split the party while Yama & Kaoru lead the deception of Azold.
    Mr Witch & Light have been imprisoned in their caravan
    Sorn & Pauly negotiate with them for their freedom
    Learn that the patchwork woman has Mr Lights Scepter. (Necessary to escape)
    Desire gave Mr Witch the idea to take over the carnival (1hour)
    Mr Witch & Mr Light are Shadar-Kai
     
    The watch prevents them from leaving - it packs up the carnival
    The sceptre - ?
     
    Eating competition: Fish Pies
    Kaoru VS Mr Witch & Flying Creature 'Striggy'
    Striggy wins
     
    Race around the carnival:
    Pauly VS Displacer beast, Elise
    Pauly wins
     
    Poor watered souls:
    Sorn VS Azold, Mr Light
    Azold wins, but Sorn makes it a tie with naughty tricks
     
    Wrestling:
    Yama VS Beans
    Yama wins
     
    Our team wins the sceptre (Witchlight Vane)
    The sceptre and the watch are given to both parties under contract of shared custody.
     
    To travel through the portal to Prismere repeat; "Hither tither here and there wander yonder show me where."
    As we step through;
    Mr Witch: "Remember three Future, Present, Past"
    Azold: "Find the Alacorn and free the dormant queen at last."
     
     
    The party finds themselves in Hither.
