Yama's Letter to Tempura

We four; Captain Pauly the Aarakocra, Sorn the Drow & Karu the sea elf, stepped through the mirror and the swampy mire of Hither was revealed before us. Off in the distance a hot air balloon crashes to the ground and the party decides its as good a place to start as any.
 
In Hither we met:
Agdon Long scarf the Brigand Prince of Prismere - The fastest Hare alive. Who is stealing happy memories in the name of a hag, Bavlorna Blightstraw.
A town of Bullywug, with a king who also swears fealty to the Hag. Bavlorna's house can be seen in the middle of the swamp, a house on stilts, hidden in a misty shrowd.
After meeting and speaking with Bavlorna, Captain Pauly set off an explosion in her house. This unleashed her wrath upon the bullywugs settlement. Many died, including knocking all my friends unconscious.
 
In Thither:
We were able to escape Hither by negotiating with Bavlorna.
She sent us to her sisters realm 'Thither'. Granny Nightshade is the hag sister who rules in Thither.
We meet an old man who trims all of Yama's armor in gold, and bestows upon him a golden cape. He is working as punishment for deeds he committed in Waterdeep.
The group is beset by a Jabberwock in the deep of night.
After an accidental trip back out of the fae wilds through a mushroom circle. On the otherside is a slowly corrupting forest and Dryads. She bids we find the lost children and the grandfather tree to stop the granny of night"
The party meets a group of pixies having a picnic, Yama is amused by their free spirited ways and creative minds.
The pixies lead the party to Will - the leader of the lost children. We decide they are the children lost at the Faewild Carnival
The party meets and requests the aid of a unicorn before an assassin springs from the shadows and moves to attack the unicorn.
The assassin provides information on a wizard, Maylev who we know has moved against the ruler of the realm, Desire.
Zarak is sent out of the fae realm through a fairy ring
At Granny Nightshade's home in the town of Loomlurch Karu and Yama explore a local nightmarket of candy and lollies. As they head further into the heart of the area they come across, children and discarded toys. While they are exploring Captn Pauly heads around the back of the tree trunk that is the hags home and is spotted, igniting a fierce battle that Yama and Karu have to run to join.

My dearest son Tempura,
 
I hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. I know it's been some time since my last letter, we've been trapped deep within the fae wilds. It was a realm of wonder and danger, and I wish you'd been here to experience it with me, but for now, let me share with you the incredible journey we've embarked on.
 
At a carnival in the fae wilds we found ourselves deeply entwined in a mystery of magic and missing children. After it unfolded we stepped through a mirror and a swampy mire appeared around us, the air thick with fog and magic. In the distance, a hot air balloon crashed to the ground, catching our attention and giving us a place to start. We found this area was known as Hither, and during our travels met light fingered harengon, a monarchy of bullywugs, a storm riding pirate and had an altercation with the ruling Hag.
 
After negotiating our escape, we arrived in the realm of Thither, a deep forest dotted with areas of mushrooms and pixies. You would have loved it my son, it reminded me of the forests near where you were born, do you remember our fishing trips? Elsewise, Thither was not so friendly and kind to us, we worked our way to the heart of a hag's operation where she was extorting children to make candy. I've enclosed some in this package, the honeyed worms were my favourite. After killing the hag, we were able to free all of her subjects and we received some crucial information to get us into the Palace of Hearts Desire.
 
As we delved deeper into the heart of the Fae Realm and found the Palace of Hearts Desire.
