T&T: Shiver me Timbers

Questions for Zarak:
 
How long has Zarak been working for him?

  • Couple of months, before we came here (Year or two)

  • Prior to the fae realm, he head hunted Zarak, putting a crew together.

  • Used an event to break in and steal some shit

  • Event was for dignitaries, at the palace. Grand ball. Goblins elves, gnomes.

  • People were reverential towards Maylef


    • Are they still in the fae realm?
  • Yes, most of the time spent in the palace. there's a vault in palace


    • How does Zarak get into the palace?
  • Fly - Zarak was dropped off by Maylef's dragon (It was the Jabberwock)

  • Maylef had to create a new one

  • Maylef doesn't know about Pauly, but knows Sorn

  • Maylef said not to kill Sorn, leave him alive, he might be useful


    • Who gives him his orders?
  • Maylev talks directly to everyone


    • How big are the teams he works in?
  • Maylev, Warduke (Right hand-man, skull motif shield carrier, flaming sword, has shrugged off spells, aura of fear), Necromancer, crazy lady and Zarak


    • He mentioned Maylef would kill him, how? Has he seen people executed by Malef before?
  • One guy worked with them briefly, talked back, arrogant

  • Maylef didn't kill him at first, but drove him mad instead until he was begging for death


    • Zarak talks about all the money that Malef has.
    Pauly takes 250g from Zarak's body - 83g each excluding Sorn
     
    The party drags Zarak through the forest in search of a fairy ring
    After the fairy ring is used there is only a small section where Zarak was standing that is dead. Pauly cuts out the decaying grass and throws it away.
     
    The party heads towards Granny Nightshade's Loomlurch.
    A fallen husk of a tree lays on the ground
     
    The team splits - Pauly heading East around the trunk, and Karu heading west - Yama remains behind with the rest of the party eating tea sandwiches.
    Pauly spots a number of Hobgoblins taking orders from one toffee-apple headed goblin. Smells like baked candies.
    Karu comes across a garden, veggie patch and goats
     
    Creepy toys, rocking horse, mouldy doll house
    Sad kids
     
    Pauly thinks he found Granny Nightshades bedroom.
     
    Karu and Yama venture into the market, Karu stealthing, Yama sauntering
    Yama does try some of the samples, tastes sickly sweet, slight tingling.
    Karu: When was the candy made? - made fresh everyday
     
    Chucklehead - The toffee apple headed goblin.
  • Yama gets 2 bags of beetle hard candy, and receives a cotton candy spiderweb which attracts a large group of fireflies which emit bright light for 5 ft, and dim light for another 10ft.

  • Karu gives up the last thing he sees before sleeping, for a packet of sweet gummy worms and savoury worms


    • During the race to get to Pauly and the Hag, Yama feels the sense of something celestial and good to the North west of the tree with his divine sense.
     
    Karu has shield of faith cast on him
    Yama falls unconscious
