Session #7 Making it to Gemgarem

When we started leaving the tree we saw some hooded men on the shoreline!
Their leader says to us, ooh thank you for restoring the gem!
He is Cedvem Kulvare. The increased natural disasters in the area have strained what they have been doing!
They spoke of a druid who knew of an obelisk in their hometown in a cave! The name of the druid who knew where the obelisk was in his hometown in the cave's name is "Salvet"
Last they heard "Salvet" went back to His village a few weeks ago!
They also have suspicions that one of the obelisks is in the old settlements from ages ago. It is probably flooded now, probably underwater! On the Northshore!
 
We then decided to leave for Gemgarem! It took us a few days to travel but we stopped in a forest one night, then we stayed at Glimmerdrift for a night! Then we stayed at the sunset tavern for another night!
The order name of the people in the sunset tavern are called "The Chalindi Circle"!
We happened to meet the owner of the tavern! His name is "Bepp Noblepeak"! People needed a spot to stay the night crossing the island, so his father founded the place!
Wood from Cessili, Wool from the sheep of parmea, and they have a great in-house cook who cooks supper and breakfast for those who stay there "John Cena" Who is Bepp's 3rd cousin twice removed!
It is a 4 story tavern, the first 2 floors have 2 queen beds per room (1 gold) whereas the upper floors have 1 king bed and cost 2 gold!
Bepp - "Occasionally when people pass by the swamp road people see a man on a horse in the distance!"
 
The fancy fights at Knightrock happen in Spring!
 
After doing some research in some papers I found that someone who got lost underground and popped up a month later claims to have seen an obelisk underground when he was there!
The next day I went around chatting with people but no one seemed to know anything! The lizard however found out that one of the leaders of one of the war bands found something that is giving power to one of the leading orcs. They are attracting more orcs to their cause, they are worried about a full-scale invasion from the orcs!
There are the oreads who know a lot about the stuff underground! There was a cartographer who went mad trying to map the caves and he ran off after burning his stuff!
 
After doing some shopping we heard some rattling noise from beneath us! We follow the sound and find a grand hall, where we come upon dead dwarves and orcs!
We spot 2 orcs and a goblin!
There were a few more but we beat them all up! I hit one of them really hard!!! (For 70 damage!!!)
We then had a brief silence before we heard another wave of enemies arriving from the broken stone gates that head down to the mine!
I chucked a torch to illuminate the entrance!
 
We waited in anticipation for the battle to come...
