Session #6 - The Ginormous Tree

The giant tree is surrounded by pools of water that somehow swirl outwards, with roots sticking in and out of this water!
We made our way across the waters. I made it across really well with my plant friend! However, everyone else seemed to struggle as there was a shark that attacked them! I climbed up easily into the tree and then I was going to help them but they all managed to make it to the tree slowly!
It has been really nice to be in my natural habitat of the woods! Climbing once again has been reinvigorating!
 
We made it into the tree! It has a lot of open space in the tree! Once inside I wandered around remembering my home from when I was young! I then spotted a way up to the next level with some vines! I then got attacked by a wood and moss looking humanoid!
 
There is a massive amount of thorns that cover the entry to the next level! They block all sight of the next area!
So I jumped down to fight this weird thing and join everyone in it!
 
We finally dealt with the menace that was that weird humanoid thing! Thankfully we killed it and got up to the next room! In the room, there is a glowing obelisk in the middle of the room! It is so bright it is quite hard to see things! There seems to be a withered tree thingy up ahead in a circle, It looks like a normal shrivelled up tree. As far as a withered tree in a tree can look like!
 
There is a totem pole with a bear, a gorilla, a lion, and a human! It somehow has to do with the field of light! All of the parts of the totem poll seem to be focused on strength and the strength of the creatures!
The chamber we are in surrounds the tree moving all the way around the circle! The room seems to be 50-100 feet tall! The Plant Boi managed to heal the tree and a layer of light diminished and we can see a little better in this room! Another layer of light disappeared after Castien restored the part of the totem and aligned it! After feeling inclined to punch the totem I punched it as hard as I could and nothing seemed to happen so that was a little lame! There seem to be 6 plants here, I figure that the blue plant is probably medicine!
After seeing these plants we decide the blue one is probably the one we should eat! In seeing this the lizard man eats the blue plant and the last layer of light disappears! revealing the obelisk in the middle.
The obelisk is green with lots of writing on it! There seems to be a spot for the gem to go in. Plant boi has the gem in his pocket and he puts the jewel into the obelisk. It fits perfectly!!! The obelisk begins to glow! We feel a wave of healing energy and it heals us all to the full!
There seem to be 4 runes of striking! We all get one and we put them onto our weapons! It is pretty awesome!!!
