Session #4 - Fighting A Giant Living Plant

A mysterious black and silver oil a scroll a claw of an animal and 20 gold pieces. The oils are 1 light each! It is a scroll of darkness a 2nd level spell!
 
Castien took the scroll of darkness! The claw is from an owlbear and my plant boyo took it!
We split the oils, I took the silver one frilsk took the black one! Plant boi did not want money so we split the money and I got 5 GP's!
 
We found out that this oil is not poisonous or medicine related!
 
The silver oil is called Silversheen, making a weapon count as silver rather than its normal make!
 
On our travels, to the bear place we got caught in the middle of a storm in the middle of a bunch of farmland!
We found an abandoned barn that held up for the night as we took shelter there! It was really sketchy however and sounded super creaky but it worked out! At least it's better than some time in my previous travels!
 
We arrived at Lake Crest and one of the buildings had a giant hole in the side of the building that looked like a large beast broke it down!
Sadly it seems like someone died here recently!
 
The city of Lake Crest seems to be a town full of windmills and they seem to be farmers who work the grain they get! We make it into the town and inside I spotted a market so I went out and prepared for the worst!
 
The guards are blue-coloured Kobald!
 
The grateful bagpipe is the tavern I decide to stay at! It seems mediocre at best and the bed was far better than the broken-down barn from last night!
 
The bear attack was not actually a bear it was a giant plant thing that only looked like a bear at a distance! The Kobolds would love to mount an offensive but don't have the manpower! They said we could be rewarded handsomely for the destruction of the creature!
 
The plant boy seems to be coming from the forest! It only seems to come out during storm times! They tracked it to the woods but it does not seem to make much impact on the woods so they don't know where to find it!
Apparently, there is a wizard tower, the wizard has been gone for the last 15 years! The town does not have a mayor but is a subsection of amber light! I entertained the town trying to lighten their spirits, I don't think it worked that well because I only got 4 copper pieces. However, I do hope that the town's spirits have been lifted
 
We then stayed another night and now are deciding to track down the plant animal thingy!
We then tracked the plant thing and found a cave covered in plant things!
 
The cave we go into seems dark and dingy however it's mainly just got a lot of plants in it!
I see a clearing!
There is a mound in the middle that is a plant!
We are being attacked by a shambler and 2 smaller boys!
 
On this day I hit the monster and He died! I dealt the final blow to the creature! It was pretty epic! However, I was quite hurt so I feel as though the adrenal really helped me in this attack!
 
This plant battle has been quite the bonding experience! We were all super close to death and I feel as though this will bond us together as a group!
 
Creepy living plants that don't seem to communicate or explain what they want are a little bit suspicious! I wonder where they come from???
