In Which Charity Plays with Dead Things

by Lady Charity k'Sheyna

Lady Zarzarian and Delathar have gone off together to speak to the orator. I decided that the best use of our time and resources would be to strike off on my own and inspect the bodies of the slain, if they are available. I mean really, who better knows a body than a Cath Bruig noblewoman?
I raided Zarzarian's wardrobe for mage clothes, and had Captain Tristan take me to the morgue.

Knight Commander Sir William Falsted (21): Serrated knife wound to the back, x2.
Tax collector Durmund: (22) Not present. Suspicious. Staff says what is left of him is in the box, tried to dash to Muirthenme. Dwarves reported the world knot made soup of him. In the box? Looks like beef; dead, just dead. Magical failure, but was it intentional?
Imperial Envoy Minerv (12): Deceased. Lip cyanosis. Hypoxia, probably, but...?
Avitara Pranae was reputed to have died of heart failure, which is very suspicious for an Avitara. Cyanosis around the lips, broken blood vessels in his eyes, foam and chemical burns around and in the mouth.

All of these men have died suspiciously, in my mind. I must return to my companions and see what they found out.
