In Which the Team Puts Lily to the Screws

by Lady Charity k'Sheyna

Lily is pretty shaken, and her son is shaking like a leaf. For living in the situation that they do, he looks remarkably clean and well fed.
Zarzarian started the conversation by asking the brat's name, which turned out to be Billy. What an outlandish name!
Lily says she is grateful that we rescued her, and that the bandits were looking for something. When she said she didn't have "it", they started choking her. Honestly, how does one even know what they're looking for with something so vague?!
She went on to say that the Knight Command had plenty of enemies in the city, and had been attacked as early as last week. The attacks were "getting better" although still came with disturbing frequency. The Knight was nervous, and was thinking of moving her out of the city.
Zarzarian asked the child to see his stuffed snoflour, and he gave it to her. It must be that dazzling smile? She handed it to Delathar, who squeezed and poked it , then fed the child a line of shit about the toy feeling ill. Captain Tristan followed Delathar in to the other room.
Zarzarian cast sparkly spells for the kid, who seemed entranced. Delathar returned holding a battered notebook, and promised Billy that his toy would be stitched up and returned soon.

The notebook revealed that the Knight ran in to Aryn Dwynn and his compatriots.
-Zarzarian reiterated that Dwynn had anarchist leanings, and recalled the gent with antidisestablishmentarianism leanings. The book also mentions these known associates:
-Dwarven dissident named Norfling, exiled for being a dingleberry. Explosives expert
-Branmyre whose iron never rusts, the pretty muscle
-Firbolg Ou'Yan the archer assassin
-Sholamance warlock "He who never smiles"
-Brandon Morgan "The Unleveler" (Red circle), writer/publisher, lives in Scales. Frequent customer of the Lonely Peacock, and the Sassy Octopus Inn.

Lily reclaimed the notebook, and says she has heard of Dwynn. She has seen Morgan, and described him in rather scandalous language. Referred us to Cross Eye and the Madame.
