The group has been tasked with 3 things:
1. finding the Psionic crystal in the secret room of the manor, and deactivating it
2. disrupting the ritual
3. entering the church and defeating the resurrected being
In the lab, Nemo finds a button hidden in a bust - it reveals a false wall, with the psionic crystal protected by a palentar
after a bit of trouble, Brother Orrin uses his frost breath to weaken the orb, and they manage to fracture it. It releases a massive burst of energy, hurting the brother, but the power of the crystal seems to dim
Back at the laboratory, where Anne was possessed, the group unbarricades the room and enter. Nemo throws a torch in, and an abomination drops from the ceiling to attack. Zinsalor wildshapes into a Giant Octopus and grapples with the ungodly creature, and the team acts quickly and destroys the creature.
Saint "Warell" has been resurrected, her tomb lying in the room. The party knows they must venture to the church to vanquish her once and for all, in the hopes of winning the Church's approval and getting their former companion resurrected.
